Cooper T53 Jack Brabham 1960
Jack Brabham won the drivers championship in 1960 driving the Constructors World Championship Cooper T3 car.
The T53 “low line” emerged looking lower and sleeker than its predecessor the T51. Cooper changed the shape of Grand Prix cars – placing the engine between the driver and the rear wheels (mid engined) which within very few years became the standard configuration for all racing car.
The T53 dominated the 1960 results, winning 5 of the 7 races it entered.
This model will feature a world championship certificate.
