Ford Falcon XW Phase II GTHO Starlight Blue
In May 1969 the first of the XW GTs rolled off the Broadmeadows assembly line. Ford fitted the 351 cubic inch (58 litre) Windsor V8 and a big Holley carburettor. Bigger brakes, a huge 36 gallon fuel tank and suspension modifications to take the extra power made this Grand Tourer. The HO variant arrived one month later, Handling Options that made this a high performance street machine. The XW GT-HO Falcon was the fastest, best equipped Australian made performance car at the time.
