FPV BF MKII GT-P – Vixen Red with Winter White Stripes

Released in October 2006, the FPV MKII GT series consisted of the GT and GT-P variations with the “P” standing for Premium – the top of the line most expensive model available. Both variants were powered by the 5.4-litre Boss 290 V8 engine with the T56 six-speed manual or ZF six-speed automatic transmissions. There were a few notable differences to the MKI version including new GT-P optional stripe package and new 19-inch machined silver 5-spoke Cobra wheels.

The GT-P featured eye-catching “BOSS 290” graphics on each side of the bonnet bulge hiding the 5.4-litre Boss 290 V8 engine pumping 290kW and 520Nm of torque. The stripe decal kits worked very well in tandem with the array of bold colour options that added a real presence to the GT-P on the road – they we’re unmistakably a modern Australian muscle car with clear influences from famous Ford GT’s of the past.

Produced in high quality sealed-body resin, the 1:18 scale FPV GT-P is an exquisitely-crafted collectable with perfectly replicated Brembo brakes, satin alloy diamond-style grille with GT-P badges to dual-trapezoidal exhaust tips. Despite being a sealed-body model, the leather-optioned FPV sports seats and all the interior details have been expertly replicated which can be clearly seen through the clear windows. The exterior finishing and colour of this model is a real standout that will make it a simply stunning addition to any model car collection.
