In his second season with Shell V-Power Racing Team, Brodie Kostecki transitions from car #38 to the iconic #17, the famed number of Dick Johnson Racing for the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship.
He made an immediate statement early in the season at the Melbourne SuperSprint, dominating a thrilling and chaotic weekend with three race victories and a second-place finish. Capping off the performance, Kostecki secured the coveted Larry Perkins Trophy, marking a powerful and emphatic start to his campaign in the legendary number.
The 2026 livery builds on the visual identity established in 2025, while carrying even greater meaning. As the 2023 Supercars Champion and 2024 Bathurst 1000 winner, Kostecki now pilots the #17 Ford Mustang GT Supercar, continuing the legacy of Dick Johnson, one of Ford’s most iconic figures in Australian motorsport. The number itself represents decades of heritage, adding further weight to Kostecki’s role within the team with the expectation from many that the driver, number and team, will rise to the top once again.

This model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.
A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.
Comprised of roughly 204 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.
It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.
