In 2025, James Golding announced his move to Blanchard Racing Team, marking a significant shift in his Supercars career. The change immediately paid dividends at the opening round of the 2026 season, the Sydney 500, where Golding delivered a standout performance. He stormed to pole position and converted it into a strong race result, finishing third in an impressive debut outing with his new team.
Golding’s pole position placed him alongside teammate Aaron Cameron on the front row, securing a historic first for Blanchard Racing Team with a front-row lockout. The momentum continued through the race, with both drivers achieving a double podium finish.
Now behind the wheel of the #7 Ford Mustang GT Supercar, Golding represents CoolDrive Racing in striking fashion. The car’s bold blue livery, accented by sharp white jagged stripes and complemented by black wheels, reflects both aggression and precision.
Produced in 1:18 scale die-cast, the model features opening components including the bonnet and both driver and passenger doors. A highly detailed racing cockpit is visible through the clear moulded glasshouse or by opening the doors for closer inspection. Beneath the bonnet sits a faithfully recreated 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 engine and detailed engine bay, while the underside showcases the distinctive Gen3 floorpan.
Comprised of approximately 204 individual metal and plastic parts, the model undergoes between 100 and 200 separate paint and decoration processes. Finishing touches include tampo printing where possible and finely crafted photo-etched components such as bonnet pins and brake rotors, resulting in a premium, high-quality collector’s piece.
Produced in a strictly limited edition of just 888 pieces worldwide, this model is a must-have for Ford and Triple Eight Race Engineering fans alike.
