Mark Skaife’s last race model

Important message re Mark Skaife’s last race model.
Due to the quality of the Mark Skaife’s last race model Code: 18490 (due for release now) it has been withdrawn by Classic Carlectables from sale and will not be released until a later date (estimated 2nd quarter 2013).
“The feedback we have received is this model is not up to standard and therefore is not saleable.
Earlier this year due to circumstances out of our control we had to change manufacturers. The current manufacturer we are using is a good factory which I have visited on several occasions this year. They are a major player in the diecast business!
They have experienced some teething problems but I can honestly say they now have overcome this and the product they are producing now is very good.
I apologies for all the inconvenience this has caused, I can assure you all we are doing our utmost to overcome these issues.”
As quoted by Peter Thompson, Managing Director Southern Model Supplies.
We at Riverina Model Cars Plus do apologies to our valued customers for the problems associated with this model.
We hope that all future releases will be of a high quality production that we have come to expect.

THE BOTTLE-O RACING 2012 SUPERCHEAP AUTO 1000 LIVERY

ent. As the new livery will not be displayed to the public until next week I cannot show any images as yet but to begin spreading the word to inform customers that the new item is coming plus to ensure we get accurate production numbers we are making todays announcement as a ‘soft release’ prior to the real car which will be unveiled at the FPR workshop on Monday the 1st of October. I am not permitted to release any info on the new livery design or style before the car is unveiled by the team.
Orders are open now and will close at the end of business on Friday the 5th of October. Should the car win then this date will be extended but to meet the production deadline that has been set by the team we must lock away orders at this time if they do not claim the top step on the podium.
At the teams request this model will only be released in 1:18 scale.

1989 ATCC Winner #17 – Dick Johnson

With our first 1:18 and 1:43 scale Ford Sierra models progressing down the production line extremely well we are very proud to announce the third release of our program.
Throughout an eight round 1989 championship season, Dick Johnson fended off all-comers – including a determined teammate in John Bowe – to win his fifth Australian Touring Car Championship.
Rarely were the Shell Ultra Hi Racing drivers missing from the podium in 1989. Along the way, Dick Johnson achieved five pole positions, but his four race wins ultimately gave him the edge.
Apex Replicas is delighted to announce our impending 1:18 and 1:43 scale release of Dick’s final championship winning car.
The 1:18 scale model will be produced in diecast metal with opening doors, bonnet, and hatch and high quality detail. The included certificate of authenticity will be hand signed by Dick Johnson. Code: AD81103
The 1:43 scale model will be in resin and a limited edition produced to our usual high standard. Code: AR41103
