APEX has secured a license agreement with Holden and will be rolling out a very impressive range of Holden models in the next few years. The first announcements are the 2012 Holden VE Commodore’s raced by Kelly Racing in Pepsi Max and Jack Daniel’s colours.

Four different models from the 2012 season will be coming later this year, both in 1:18 and 1:43 scale. They will be similar to our existing FG Falcons, in that they are Resin but we have taken what we have learnt with the 1:18 scale FG’s and upgraded the detail in several areas for the 1:18 scale VE’s most notably in the underbody where we now have a separate exhaust pipe and drive line plus more detailed suspension components and rolling wheels.

At this stage the first model that will be released is the Greg Murphy Clipsal VE, and each model thereafter will be spaced out, however the timing is subject to production constraints.

APEX Ford 2013 V8 Supercars from Apex Replicas

Announce the first batch of V8 Supercars for the 2013 season and are excited to confirm that our 1:18 scale 2013 V8 Supercars will be produced in diecast. They will have a sealed body with an increase in detail from last season’s cars. All 1:18th’s will have rolling wheels, as well as a lower cost compared to last year’s items.

The 1:43rd’s will remain resin models with a different prefix showing the different material.

Any model with ‘AD’ as the prefix will be made from diecast, and ‘AR’ will be resin.

Our first release will be the four FG Falcon’s (as per images), both cars from DJR, Team JELD-WEN and The Bottle-O Racing Team in 1:18th and 1:43rd scale!

The first batch of 1:43rd’s are due in August, with the 1:18ths close behind in September.

More announcements of the rest of our V8 Supercar lineup for 2013 will be on their way very soon.

The 1:18 will be priced at $150 and the 1:43 will be $70.
