DJR Team Penske has announced a major partnership with the world market leader of assembly and fastening material, Wurth Australia.

The No. 17 Ford Falcon of Marcos Ambrose will carry naming right sponsorship from Wurth for the prestigious Australian Grand Prix meeting in Melbourne and two weeks later the ‘homecoming’ V8 Supercars Championship event for Ambrose in his native Tasmania.

DJR Team Penske was able to confirm that Wurth has entered a long term, strategic arrangement with the V8 Supercars team.

Shane van Gisbergen’s confirmed move to Triple Eight for 2016.

Shane van Gisbergen is currently with the single-car team of TEKNO Autosports.

Van Gisbergen currently sits fourth in the Championship behind HRT’s Garth Tander, with Tander’s teammate James Courtney leading and BJR’s Fabian Coulthard second.

Heading to the Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix, van Gisbergen told v8supercars.com.au he’d race as hard as ever and, not surprisingly, loves the world stage.

Biante announce the two Holden Racing Team VF Commodore V8 Supercars driven by Garth Tander and James Courtney at the 2015 Sydney SuperTest. These 1:18 scale models will be produced in diecast with fully opening parts (other than the boot). We have now had final confirmation that these models can be produced with the full livery including the Monster logos.

These model are due for release in the 2nd Qtr. 2015

DJR Team Penske has announced a partnership with Biante Model Cars to produce die-cast model cars in various scales for the 2016 season. This partnership re-unites Biante with the iconic Ford V8 Supercar team and will further compliment an existing program of producing historic models that fit within the Biante Dick Johnson Collection.

Development on the 1:18 scale DJR Team Penske Ford Falcon FGX V8 Supercar is underway and will be produced in die-cast alloy with fully opening parts, other than the boot. This has been a feature of the current Biante Next Generation V8 Supercar models. The DJR Team Penske Falcon FG X will be seen in a number of livery designs as well as a full range of scales from the 1:18 range through to 1:43 and 1:64 sizes.

Full details of the range will be made available later in 2016.

These models should be availabe in the 3rd Qtr 2016 and will be produced in 1:18 & 1:43 scales.

After a few false starts and several unfortunate delays we are now able to confirm the selected colours for our first releases in the HSV GenF range.
