A new era began in 2023 when Gen3 Supercars were introduced to race in the Supercars Championship. A significant evolution from the previous Gen2 platform, the Gen3 rules implemented a raft of changes for the Ford Mustang GT Supercar in 2023, with a large focus on achieving a much closer visual connection to its road going counterpart, more controlled parts and less downforce to encourage greater racing.
Now in his fourth season with Walkinshaw Andretti United, Chaz Mostert’s 2023 #25 Mobil 1 Optus backed Mustang is perhaps one of the best looking cars on the grid, with this season livery based on the Sydney SuperNight round where the team celebrated their 30 year partnership with Mobil with a stylised bonnet design. Featuring a crisp white base with black and teal racing stripes, Mozzie’s Mustang is
an absolute standout and certainly looks worthy of the 2x Bathurst 1000 winning driver behind the wheel.
