Scott McLaughlin’s four year stint with Dick Johnson Racing / Shell V-Power Racing Team may well go down as one of the most dominant partnerships between team and driver in a short space of time in the history of the Supercars Championship. A breathtaking pole lap of Bathurst and a championship near miss in 2017, a year of redemption in 2018 to claim his maiden championship win, back-to-back titles, a Bathurst 1000 win and a record breaking season in 2019 and a three-peat of championships in 2020 before departing the series to race IndyCar makes an incredible list of achievements for the ace driver. One of those achievements during this time occurred during his season of redemption in 2018 where he returned to Bathurst with co-driver Alex Premat after a DNF the year prior to finish on the podium in third place – his first podium at the
