David Reynolds  #55 2012 Bottle-O Falcon in 1:18 and 1:43 scale for Rod Nash Racing.
There have been many a collector calling for this model to be made over the last few months and we are very proud to expand our range of resin models to include this car. David and the team are having a very competitive year and this will be a very sought after model.
The item has been fast tracked due to The Bottle-O needing the 1:18 cars for a promotion they are running and delivery for this model is planned for early August. 1:43 will follow slightly later.
We currently only have approximately 220 pieces on the 1:18 available for our stores and stock will be allocated in line with orders received. Once they are fully allocated then there will be no more.

Classic Carlectables 2013 Delivery

Holden L34 Torana #5 Brock/Sampson 1975 Bathurst Winner
1975 saw Peter Brock gone from Holden Dealer Team. He continued racing as a privateer with backing from Bridgestone and Melbourne preparation wizards Norm Gown and Bruce Hindhaugh.
He partnered with Brian Sampson for 1975 bathurst race. The L34 Torana qualified fast enough for 3rd on the starting grid, behind Bond and Moffat.
For the race, Brock was instructed to take it easy for the early stages of the race to conserve the car, and it worked. Brock took the flag for his first win as a privateer and his secon outright Bathurst win.
Holden VH Commodore 1982 Bathurst 2nd Place Allan Grice & Alan Browne
For the 1982 Bathurst 1000 all eyes were on Peter Brock, but a realisticvictory was the Allan Grice / Alan Browne Re-Car Racing VH Commmodore. They managed pole position in qualifying and made thebest start off the line race day. But allan with uneven brake pressure, spun on lap 11 at Murrays Corner. Without incident, he got back in the race, but Brock had gained a huge lead. They maintained the pace and after 162 laps gained second place. A very welcome result at the time.

Biante News Re V8 Supercar

Biante are very pleased to release the 2013 V8 Supercar Program.
Biante will be offering 2 different body styles, from 5 teams on the grid – 11 of the 28 car grid will be replicated by Biante, in both 1:18th and 1:43rd scale.
The list of cars is as follows:
Holden VF Commodore #8 Team BOC Jason Bright NZ Round Winner (with JR Trophy)
Holden VF Commodore #14 Lockwood Racing Fabian Coulthard Tasmania Round Winner (Fabian’s First)
Holden VF Commodore #21 Wilson Security Racing David Wall Season Car
Holden VF Commodore #97 VIP Petfoods Shane Van Gisbergen Clipsal Winner
Holden VF Commodore #19 Darrell Lea Jonathon Webb Season Car
Holden VF Commodore #66 Supercheap Auto Racing Russell Ingall Season Car
Holden VF Commodore #88 Ekol Racing Scott Pye Season Car
Holden VF Commodore #30 Dodo Racing Dean Fiore Season Car
Erebus Motorsport V8 #4 IRWIN Racing Lee Holdsworth Season Car
Erebus Motorsport V8 #9 SP Tools Racing Maro Engel Season Car
Erebus Motorsport V8 #47 HHA Racing Tim Slade Southern Cross Livery
The Holden and Erebus V8’s are ground up, new tooling, replicating this year’s new Car of the Future platform. The 1:18th models are Diecast Alloy, (as you would expect from Biante), with opening parts, with the exception of the closed boot.  This has been done for a couple of reasons, but the main one is to try and keep the retail price as low as we can, whilst keeping the other opening features.  The 1:43rd will be exactly as you have seen from us before in this scale – Diecast, interiors, but no opening parts.
Both the 1:18th and the 1:43rd scales will utilise as much tampo printing as possible, but, will still use water decals where it is physically impossible to replicate the livery accurately in tampo print.
Biante are very, very aware of the cost sensitive nature of this area of our market, but we don’t want to offer the market something other than what they expect.  This is why we have pursued the use of Diecast and opening parts. There will be a small reduction in the level of detail in order to hit the 1:18th retail price of $150.00, however, we do hope that the reduction in price by nearly $50.00 will more than offset the small reduction in detail level.   Please be assured that the most important ingredient for us, is to produce a model that looks as accurate as possible when sitting on the collector’s shelf and we will not compromise on that.  At $150.00, these are still collectable model cars – they are not toys.
